Description and useful information : Programmable 1 MHz 30 MHz signal generator: 100 KHz or 500 KHz steps. Three scanning speeds L M H: L slow scanning, M medium scanning, H fast scanning. You can set the two frequencies equal and therefore have a fixed frequency. PLL lock indication on (off disengaged). The two oscillators are taken from the PA1ARE antenna analyzer design. Brief description of the circuit: the signal generated by the variable oscillator (from 49 to 79 MHz) controlled by the MC145170 PLL and composed of two BFR96 is mixed in the SBL-1 mixer with the signal generated by the fixed oscillator at 48 MHz (BF494). We then move on to the first amplifier with the MAR6: then we have the low pass filter and then the second amplifier, another MAR6. As usual, we are available for further information, as well as providing the software for the PIC. Awarded project in the Hamfest Florence self-build competition with 3rd prize.
